Cala en Porter Fiestas

Friday18th September

1200 hrs. Official start of the fiestas.

2000 hrs. Children’s entertainment with “El Gran Pepote” in the Plaça Gran.

2200 hrs. Judging of the ‘best decorated public establishment’.

2200 hrs. ‘Corre Focs’ (firework spectacle) by the “Colla de Diables de Maó” in the Church Square (next to Bar Pons).

Saturday19th September

1130 hrs. Sandcastle competition with judging at 1230 hrs.

1700 hrs. Performance by the Alaior Majorettes and Bugle & Drum Band.

1800 hrs. The cavalcade tours the urbanisation before heading for the beach for the ‘jaleo’ at 1930 hrs. with music from “Los Muchachos”.

Sunday 20th September

0950 hrs. Parade of horses and riders.

1215 hrs. ‘Jaleo’ in the square next to Bar Pons with music from “Los Muchachos”.
