El Lago improvements not to affect tourism

Ciutadella Council has promised the president of the Cala en Bosc Residents’ Association that work to improve the area around the Lago will not interfere with the tourist season.

Although it is planned to complete the project in a single phase, should it not be completed by the beginning of May work will halt until the end of the tourist season.

Cala en Bosch work to start next month

Improvements to the tune of 750,000 euros are to be carried out around the Lago in Cala en Bosch, with the work due to start next month. The project includes widening the pavement that borders the lake, resurfacing the road, improving the streetlighting and planting new palm trees as well as work on the bridge and footpath, all of which should be completed within six months
